Brian Bruney
Well this game started off pretty well and for 6 innings Wang and Halladay matched each other by putting up zeroes and pitching beautifully. Then in the 7th the Blue Jays finally broke through for two runs. The game appeared to still be in reach but then in the 8th Edwar came in and gave up a 2 run HR to make it 4-0. Halladay had looked invincible but then they rallied in the 9th and with the help of a big error they came back and tied it in the 9th. The bullpen was fantastic and held the Blue Jays until the 14th. Brian Bruney came in and gave up a homer to Gregg Zaun which lost the game. Why not bring in Farnsworth instead? Bruney has no place on the playoff roster. He`s got great stuff but no control. The offense also fell asleep after the 9th. They had something like 3 hits before the 9th and 3 hits after the 9th. By the time this game ended I was to tired to be annoyed but was is a tough loss.
